Star Hunter (IBU400g)

Star Hunter is a 2D space combat game that I (design and programming) and two other teammates (music and planet/background art) developed as a part of my uni studies in a span of about a month of semi-active work.  It's a pretty small project and was developed as a learning experience more than an actual product, but it seemed a bit of a waste to just throw it away after showing it at my uni, so here it is for everyone to download and play.  

GAMEPLAY

As a newbie bounty hunter your job is to hunt criminals, smugglers, murderers and everything in between. 

Fly to different planets and scan for signals to find your targets and destroy them. Collect their ID's and deliver them to a nearby planet, but be sure not to die along the way, or else everything that's not cashed in will be lost. 

Upgrade your ship to increase your hull integrity and weapon damage.

You've also heard rumors about the legendary space pirate Azen, who has evaded the law for years now. Maybe you'll be the one who takes him down?
