Star Map Generator

Generates a 3d map of a customizable stellar neighborhood with scientifically accurate star types, random star positions, and multiple-star systems. You can change the size of the spherical map, the star density - number of stars per cubic unit, the scale of the model, and how large or small the stars appear. Space is vast, and even stars are tiny compared to the distance between them, so all objects are much larger than to scale.

Move around using WASD, Space, and Shift, and rotate the camera using Q, E, R, and F.  Once the parameters for your star map have been set, press V to generate the stars.
