Star Strat

Star Strat is an arcade shooter with strategy-like mechanics I have been working on as part of a university module.

The aim of the game is to choose a team of two ships to take on levels where players must try to defeat as many enemies as possible using each ship's own set of attacks, before taking on the boss at the end of each level. Some ships will be better suited for taking on certain enemies than others, but levels will be beatable regardless of whichever ship is chosen.

The game features several game modes, inlcuding a boss rush, a high score mode and a story where levels will become progressively harder the more the player wins.
