Steel Armor: Blaze of War reviews

World of Tanks is too boring for you and you are looking for an Alternative with more Depth of Play? How beautiful for you! -However, Steel Armor-Blaze of War Is far from recommended for you. The Game is courted as a hard-hitting Simulation and seems to be just that, too. Hard-hard and cold hearted, fully aligned with the Simulation of two Tanks (M60 and T62, respectively). The Part of the Simulation fills the Game Magnificently. In all other Areas, however, it weakens enormously. The Menu guide Is, in my View, old-baking and confusing. The Sub-menus (for Example the Graphics settings/Keyboard settings) are unnecessarily complicated and again very confusing (E.g. "Detail change distance" can be screwed up from 75% to 200%. What the Effect is supposed to have, however, is not clear at first. Some Graphics Settings have an improved effect on the Graphics and need to be "enabled," others need to be "desabled" in order to have a positive impact. If you can do nix, that's just the way it is. When you start the Tutorial, you probably think to yourself relatively quickly "Achso, yes-well is easy." Then the Game explains to you little by little what you can do, but you put Functions on completely pointless, unreachable or hard-to-notice Buttons. In Short: You can switch between all Crew Members-and that's why the whole Keyboard is occupied. If you are familiar with DCS/Silent Hunter 4, ARMA 3 or other Simulations of this Calibre, you will have a Premonition of what lies ahead. Okay, okay. Two far too short Tutorial Missions later, you can try your hand at the Campaign or a Quick Mission. That's where the Game starts to weaken strongly for me. Each (campaign) mission starts with a Tactical Part, but the Tutorial doesn't prepare you for. If you "just wanted to drive tanks after All" you have to hack through this Phase by Spamming the Entertaste, then drive into his Mission and probably die a few Times, because he has a Clue about nix. The Tutorial is not even useful with its two Missions. I've played a few Hours now and a lot of things are working out now. However, the Game often shows me that it is still far from "finished" to the current Stand (02.10.2015). There is, for Example, English Language in the Menus, but only Russian Setting in the Game (with Subtitles). The Tower Turning Noise (2 Sounds) is repeated over and over again. It is a 2-3 Sected High-pitched Sound that at some point just goes on the Bag (similar to WHAT it was until recently with ARMA 2/3). For Casual Players or People looking for something similar to World of Tanks/Warthunder, this Game is not (at the moment) recommended. For People who have always wanted to experience how Distances to Targets are calculated, how the Communication takes place in the Tank and wanted to see fully modeled interior views of Tanks, it is really recommended despite the many Negative Points. There is no full "Clickable Cockpit like in the DCS aircraft. Some Things can be clickable, others can only be operated via Keyboard assignments or via an Interface similar to the Silent Hunter Series. Have fun.
