Stormbound reviews and comments

I became aware of this Game through "Game of the Day." I like CCG. But this Game surprised me in a positive way. The Menu guide is very nice and clean, nothing is squeezed together senselessly, everything has its Place. The Game mode is surprisingly good and not comparable to other CCGS such as Hearthstone, it is uniquely good. You put your Cards on a 5x4 Field, like a Box box as an Example. The further the Units advance, you can lay your Cards right in front of the enemy Castle Until the penultimate Ridges. Just play on it and put the Cards on the Field senselessly doesn't take anyone any further, you have to be strategic and also react to the Opponent otherwise you lose the Match faster. I have an iPhone X. When I press the Homebutton I always get to the Quests in the Game, maybe you can fix this but is not disturbing. Whether you invest Money in the Game in order to get to Cards faster is up to everyone. You can also come a long way without Investing money. I, on the other hand, would support the Developers for this free Game. From me definitely 5 Stars, download the Game and stray your grey Brain Cells, it doesn't harm anyone, think about your Future! Dementia Prophylaxis!

I respect the developers of this game immensely. Stormbound is truly one of the only good competitive card games on the App Store. It has a clean and simple, yet elegant design, and the game is really made to be a balanced competitive experience. You don't see this a lot on the App Store, whilst I believe there is a huge demand for these kinds of games right now, with the popularity of competitive PC games like League of Legends, Hearthstone and CS:GO. A con of Stormbound as opposed to big PC games however, is its Pay2Win nature. Spending money on card packs and card upgrades simply enables you to climb higher on the ladder. Whereas Free2Play players will have to grind for months to climb higher and higher. This is not a gamebreaker however. You'll just have to accept that climbing goes quite slowly, but it does happen. Additionally, the game is definitely skill-based. There's a lot you can learn about different cards and how to counterplay them with your self-crafted deck. I love this game because of its elegant design and its competitive gameplay. Seeing myself improve and climb the ranks is something I love most in the (PC) games I play, it's good to have that on my phone as well. And kudos to the devs, for the amazing interaction with their community and regular updates to the game.
