Stuck in a loop
The game is based on a lockdown the character feels they are stuck in a loop
because they are experiencing the same day over and over again.
The players goal would be to break the loop by trying different tasks
to see if the loop exists or if it's just like a disorder, Like Deja Vu, or Ground Hog Day.
We don't think the game will be finished but we have created a protoptype of a part of the game
for completing tasks and moving on to the next level / the next day in the loop.
After the player has completed all the levels depending on what options they took
will finish the game hopefully breaking the loop.
How it works
There is 3 or more tasks the player can do per a level
and depending on which order they do the tasks they will
gain a certain amount of points which decides which level / day
they move to next.
For example if the player completes the tasks in order:
3,1,2 then they could get 15 points which would load level:
"Level_2_321" or they could complete the tasks in order:
2,1,3 and get 10 points which would load level: "Level_2_213".
All this would be done by using filters.
How to play
When loaded you will a room, 3 game objects and a door.
The player has to walk upto the object and press the Up Arrow
to interact with the task which will then activate
then do the same with any of the other tasks
once you think you are done with the tasks
you can go upto the door and try load the next leve with the interaction button.
