StuDante
About
StuDante is a prototype of a desktop-based educational application about I, III, V cantos of Dante Alighieri’s Inferno.
The application is meant to let the user dive into the Divine Comedy’s first scenarios, with the guide of Virgilio through the adventures. In order to progress in the game the user will be asked to answer some questions about the narration, and during the experience he will be able to consult the aforementioned cantos of the poem.
Dante’s Divine Comedy is one of the most important stages of High School literature, and nowadays the approach to its teaching is too tied to antiquated educational models.
StuDante’s goal is to prototype an educational application able to let the student live Dante’s adventures in first person, to let him feel on his skin what the Florentine poet wanted to express.
