Styx: Master of Shadows reviews

A surprisingly good stealth game that gives you a lot of options
«Underrated»

I loooove stealth games.  I didn't care for this game.
A solid stealth game. A bit hard to figure out at some points but for a budget title very good.

Just played Styx To the End and ... mhhh. The Entry is quite confusing, but somehow gets the Curve again. To the Story I don't want to give much away, only that there is a more or less unexpected twist and still degenerate it in a disappointing Ending. I was expecting more, or at least something Better. The Graphics are designed for the Game to have a few Years, quite well and also imaginatively. I like that the whole pretty Gloom and Dark was kept. Exactly Right for an Asassin who lives off the Shadows. The Atmosphere and Sound are aligned accordingly and fit the Game quite well. But at the End of The day, it just couldn't save the Game. As mentioned above, the Story is not convincing and the Gameplay is just awful, which had quite a lot of potential in terms of idea. Basically, all you need is the Guards (who, by the way, only run the same paths) around the Corner to Whistle and secretly quietly turn off there. That over and over again until the Path is clear. It also doesn't even stand out when there are only 2 of the 5 People in a Room. So there is no increased Vigilance Like "The consumption but quite long to come back ..." Even the Sayings from the Guards are always the same and there I think even felt 3-4 different Voices in different Tone, throughout the Game! If you want to kill the whole thing without anyone and go undetected, you may already have a bigger Challenge ahead of you, but you don't change how simple the whole thing is. As a simple, at a time of being acceptable for €530, in addition, you will probably be extremely disappointed. My Conclusion:-Story 5/10-Graphic 7/10-Atmosphere 8/10-Sound 8/10 gameplay 4/10

Puuuuuuuuuuuuh what a game, my dear singing club, so it god where I start. On the one hand, there are 4 different levels of difficulty, from light to goblin, from Normal you have to think carefully about what you do. So there is already a challenge to these titles, but for Stealth lovers just right. Clearly the Graphics are nu a few days old, but it still looks good. Let's just get to the gameplay, well the control, is sometimes horny rather mäh, in itself it is easy to play, here and there the view angles disturb, if you are under a table, for example, and the camera zooms in far. You can't complain, the kletter sprung etc system is in need of getting Used to when you are used to Assassins creed, ists are really comliqued, because you don't stick on walls, heels forward firmly you can make a wrong step every time and lubricate it. But The amount of paths you have per levl so is really very large, you can run Names Roaring in, and be killed in 5 seconds ... You Sneak, and then it gets really awesome, because, you have to plan what you do. In AC you could easily rush here rather nope ^^. Well, what else, well the levl are not small, because if you just stand in a Courtyard and look up and you can see a feeling 50 meters over yourself even paths that you can walk, well then you know what to come ^^. The Sound, is great, the light and shade effects are also very well done. The Environment, is really nice, it just fits everything. Of course, everything is never perfect, but I think if you also concede your old game and you're not a graphic Fanatic, or you explicitly pay attention to monotonous Things (dialogues, for example), and you just enjoy it, I think I can make an absolute Buy recommendation.
