If it worked properly, it would certainly be a good game again. But unfortunately I had graphic and sound errors all the time, besides, the game crashed again and again without warning:/

Old but gold ... One of the few Games that have a really good Balancing In the Units-here goes Class before Mass and with Tactics you can make up for a lot, even if the Opponent is superior. Great Row that started here.

Whoever leaves that will not find a detailed Review of what is included in the Game etc. For this I would say quickly, look at videos and Reports etc. of SdSt. I just want to give my Thumbs up Here because it just evokes childhood memories and the Game just invented this Genre in The FRAME of the WW2 And I keep getting Goosebumps when I read "Reinforcement has arrived!" And then this SFX sound There's:D coming:D: D The Game may be difficult, but that excites you only to pay more attention to everything and to try strategies skillfully. I love SdSt. And also recommend Mods, like Hidden Stroke 2 and the same try. P.S. In my Opinion, the Game receives too little Attention and only the "old Hands" still know such Nostalgia games. I recommend it to everyone as the Game is uniquely good, has a super atmosphere and you can invest a Lot of Time;) Greeting Retro

War is hell! One of the best Tactics ever. Since there is no Base construction and only Rarely Reinforcements, the Focus is on slow, methodical Approach. Despite the generally rather leisurely Pace, in larger Battles it often becomes a stressful Task to have all units Optimally under Control. Because the automatic Way Finding is creepy. Basically, it is Advisable to remain on the Defensive and weaken the Opponent until a Goal can be taken with great Certainty. The 2D Engine still looks pretty and the detailed Models of Infantry and Vehicles are easy to distinguish. There is an Idea Bar, but this has little effect on the Game-there are no heroes and Super Soldiers. The Age shows, however, because some Features that are taken Today for gang and there are missing. For Example, the Autosave Or configurable Hotkeys. Furthermore, only 4:3 Resolutions are Available, the largest being 1024x768. Furthermore, there is no Update of the Targets, or Hints on the Overview Map. Everyone should internalize the Briefing at the beginning as much as possible. Another age-related Shortcoming is that with each new Missions, everything is set back to zero, rather than transferred to the next Section, because often the Targets of the Battle line are on the same Map, but divided into different Stages. Recommended for Players who can spend a lot of Time and Effort.
