Sun Smasher - GMTK 2021

Our two adorable astronauts are on their mission to blow up the sun. 

Why? Who knows? 
Are they the bad guys? Maybe, but who cares when you get to see the explosion of the century?

This strange spaceship seems to have no acceleration of its own and instead relies on our astronauts to venture out into space and grab onto one of the many planets around them.
Their reach is limited, and some planets are only suitable for one of the two astronauts.
With their forces joined together they are on their unpreventable path to smash into the sun.
