Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a vibrant celebration of 2D platforming, where the Wonder Flowers and the blooming Flower Kingdom inject a burst of creativity into the Mario series. On stream, the unexpected level transformations and the joyful chaos of local co-op shine, offering an ideal experience for platformer fans and casual players alike.
However, inconsistent difficulty and slightly unstable performance in handheld mode slow the momentum, making a few moments feel less smooth. Compared to Super Mario Odyssey, it is less ambitious but far more accessible.
At its price (59.99 €, rarely discounted), it is a must-have on Switch, blending nostalgia with fresh ideas. A sparkling adventure, lightly held back by the hardware.
