This is a submission for the Weekly Game Jam Wek 158, with the theme being "Replay."
Reach the goal to gain points, and when you do you place a trap on the stage. If an opponent dies from your trap, you gain a kill. Kills act as your lives, so if you die then one of your kills are spent and you can immediately retry.
Every time someone does not reach the goal (death or ran out of time) the score increases by 15 seconds. This is reset back to 60 seconds when the goal is reached. You gain points equal to the amount of seconds left to reach the goal.
TRAPS
Saw - Kills you immediately if you touch it.
Flamethrower - Turns on and off. Kills you if you hit the flame.
Mine - You have 1 second to get out of its blast radius or else you will, ya know, die.
Disappearing platform - Useful for coming up with new routes to reach the goal, but is only active for 3 seconds at a time.
