Survival: Last Day reviews

Hello Survivor, Great a new Survival Game, I was really excited. Trailers and Pictures at first Glance not bad makes You want more. Clearly "early access" can still change a lot and You have to expect problems and Bugs. As long as you see this being worked on by the Developers and the Feedback from the Players is taken into account, I don't think that's too bad either. But now briefly to the Game: One wakes up, as one of the few Survivors of a deadly Virus, with a Stone Hoe somewhere in the middle of a Meadow. Nearby are a few Trees and Stones that can be dismantled with the supplied Hoe, so the first Resources are secured. Not far away a few Buildings unfortunately only Warehouses and a Kind of Construction Site. Here you can also walk a few Animals (Chickens and Pigs) along the Path and behind the Corner one of The first Zombie surprises – so there Are also enemies. Unfortunately, here is also the first Disappointment the Animals and Zombies almost do not move from the Place (They attack you at least if you stand right next to it but otherwise there is not much), but are very easy to eri.kill and spawn always in the same Place Again within a very short Time (there is currently a small Bug). So quickly killed some Pigs to get Meat and get some Zombies done (just because you can) and then explore the World. But here, too, there is still a lot of work to be done – the Map is currently very small and thinly populated. You don't meet many Animals or a lot of Zombies, but very few Buildings or Locations can be found. So at least quickly explore the Building Menu ... The Menu is very reminiscent of Rust, is very similar, but here too there are still relatively few Choices (Foundation, Wall, Door, ceiling – I think that was it. A small Box, Torch, Staircase and Anvil and End) but at least you can build a few more small Bugs (E.g. Upgrades to other Materials don't work yet) but otherwise OK – there is certainly STILL Potential for Improvement here. Crafting: The Basic Resources are quickly sourced and you can get started with the first Things, Spear, bow, a Campfire and a Kiln for my Iron Ore etc. Easy to use and works. But there are more, various Weapons, Tools and Armor. What I miss is information about the various Things. For Example: Which of the different Armor is better (you can only try) with the Tools and Weapons, but the Tasting is already more difficult because often not really recognizable which Hoe or Weapon is the better or more durable. Unfortunately, I can't try everything because despite several times the whole Map expired I couldn't find some Resources – I'm not sure if everything hasn't been involved here yet or if I just haven't found it. Unfortunately, there is currently neither a Story, any Tasks nor a Goal (apart from Survival, which is not difficult). So If you don't just want to build a House and want to kill the same Zombies and Animals Hour by hour is to advise against buying the Game – but have certainly already played worse Games for €3. All in all, a Game that is still really at a very very early Stage and there is still a lot of Work to be done on the part of the Developers. It reminds me a lot of Rust but there is still a long Way to go before then – hope the Road is not too far for the Developers. At least Updates are still made more or less regularly to date. What Is important for me and many Steam Users would be that at least the Steam achievements are solvable and not, as is currently the Case, Buggy. Greetings username_1975
