About

Juliette Waters wakes up in an empty apartment from the seventies, buried underground by a landslide. With the help of her ghost recording equipment she manages to escape and make contact with Walter, the owner of a local boat business. She learns that her boyfriend Jonathan is looking for her, and she decides to look for him too. She borrows Walter’s boat to travel the flooded landscapes of Saginaw Park, and heads for the coordinates written down on a post-it note stuck to the ship’s computer.

Sylvio 2 is an atmospheric, first-person horror game completely without chasing enemies or cheap jump scares. The unique gameplay mechanic of the video and sound analyzing tool lets you find hidden messages and clues on how to interact with your surrounding and progress through the game.

The game consists of nine levels and a flooded main area with twenty islands, free to explore. Estimated gameplay time is 6 hours.

Sylvio 2 is a sequel to critically acclaimed Sylvio, nominated for Best Original Game on the 2015 TIGA Awards and listed as one of the best horror games by PC Gamer. It is created and developed by Niklas Swanberg, owner of horror game studio Stroboskop. Juliette Waters is once again portraid by Swedish actress Maia Hansson Bergqvist.

Still loving that game. I'm a big fan of Sylvio 1 and even if it's sometimes confusing and strange (WHICH I LOVE!) it's a game different from all these Horror Games out there. I want more of this..

Sylvio 2 is an Experience no one should have. Gameplay technically-there nicts except jump cuts, white points that you click and then wait. The Main Play element consists of pressing wasd until you reach a Sound track. Graphics sometimes in front of the Options you can not adjust the Volume again. 0/10 not buy, do not look at, do not play, forgets this Review just run digga run. Get this out of Steam-Aki698 on Twitch

In the Beginning I really had to get used to the new System, it had not been enough to run around with the Microphone anymore and to record something myself, especially since I played Sylvio one only a few Days ago. However, the new function with the Video Camera has tuned everything, Sylvio 2 was a lot more sinister than the first Part, even though I found it much better. On the whole, however, a really brilliant Game again, which I would like to recommend further.

Please do not have too high Expectations of the Sylvio 2 Prototype version! The final Sylvio 2 Release resembles the Prototype only in Game Mechanics and also only very simple. I think that's a shame because I was disappointed with exactly the Euphoria of the Prototypes to the Game ranging and very very much disappointed. But if I Let go of it and try to concentrate unaffected by my destroyed Expectations, only on the pure Game Sylvio 2, then I see a great hiking Thrill Horror game in front of me. It creates a completely bizarre world of its own beyond the reasoned imagination. Normally I am very brewed in Terms of Horror. But in Sylvio 2 I actually got a Thrill carved in by constant Anxiety several times! Jumpscares are for me only futile Attempts to scare the Player. Thanks to this, the Game has almost completely dispensed with this! Instead, the Fear in the Game persists and tugs at the Nerves. And that's exactly what I'm constantly looking for in Games. And so, Despite the underlying Hype in me, Sylvio manages to get a Recommendation from me WITH THE NOTE that the Game is best tackled without Expectations! Edit: Now all Achievements are achieved. Worth finding all the Achievements (One or Two Places are a bit hard)! A bit more joined the Story and interesting Finale to get the last Achievement. I advise the Guides and google to take Help, as some things are not quite obvious.
