Synaesthetic is best engaged with headphones on, and is not a traditionally passive gaming experience.
This game seeks to simulate synesthesia in the interest of confronting players with the prison of their senses. Combining psychological concepts with inward observation, to highlight the fallibility of the senses. This project stemmed from an interest in phenomenology, neuroatypical experiences, body hackers, and transhumanism.GLITCHSynaesthetic.exe plays differently every time due to an unintended glitch exporting, to an interesting effect.
