About

Build a city from random blocks!
Each turn the population increases by 2.
The game ends when 50 or more of the population do not have a home.

You must place pieces of a city to facilitate the growing population. You earn money as a player from a percentage of the income your city residents receive. You can only place blocks adjacent to pre-existing blocks, and blocks that are unused for 4 consecutive turns will degrade into blocks with no value. Blocks can only effect each other within a radius of about 7 grid spaces. As the game continues the rate at which the population grows will increase.

Purple - Town Centre, only one. Holds 8 people, has 8 jobs and provides 40 resource capacity.
Green - Housing, holds 1 person per grid space.
Blue - Workplace, provides 1 job per grid space.
Yellow - Resource, provides 5 other grid spaces with resources per grid space.
Red - Leisure, increases player money received from income in the surrounding area.

You can also upgrade blocks by spending money you earn as a player.
Town Centre - another 8 capacity, jobs and 40 resources per upgrade. Also increases overall player income rate.
Housing - increases capacity.
Workplace - increases jobs and wage rates.
Resource - increases capacity and decreases cost.
Leisure - increases player income rate from this block.

Finally, player money may also be spent on removing already placed blocks from the map, including removing degraded blocks.

Controls:
WASD - Move the camera
Q & E - Rotate a held piece
Left click - Select or deselect blocks from the menu, select blocks on the map or place a currently held block
Right click - Remove a held block from your hand
Middle click - Move the camera
Scroll wheel - Control camera zoom

Extra tips:
If people aren't living in your houses, make sure they have enough jobs nearby to afford the house, and make sure there's a resource tile nearby too!
If a workplace has gone dark, it means there aren't enough houses nearby to support it!
Resources only operate if at least 5 people live nearby! Make sure to keep the capacity higher than the demand to ensure costs don't rise!
Place leisure blocks near lots of houses! They generate more income for the player based on how much the residents near them earn!
