Tabletop Simulator reviews

This isn't a game.  Its a tool to play board games online.  and It does this nearly perfectly.
provides the community with tools to build whatever they can imagine. great idea, and lots of fun with friends
Versatile, endlessly fun - the game ultimately brought a new social aspect into the gameplay that's sometimes productive and makes for great games with great teammates. A fun online experience, overall.

As an avid Board Player, I have the Problem that the planned everyday Adult Routine rarely allows Meetings with Friends. Once they have several Times, they live too far away. This is where the Tabletop Simulator comes in, allowing you to play online with Friends or Strangers (I haven't tested that yet) a Variety of Well-known and lesser known Board games. The special thing about it is That he basically just provides the Platform. Compliance with the Rules must be taken into Your own work. This makes for a very authentic Feeling, because you dice yourself, move the Characters across the Field, draw Cards and can cheat or knock the Board over if you want to. The Game Manager can, of course, stop this, but what matters is the great Freedom that the Tabletop Simulator Brings. And he thrives on the Creativity of those who fill the Steam Workshop. Whether it's a small Card Game for in between, Pen & Paper or a complex Board game-so far my Tabletop Simulator Rounds have been very great Fun for me. Game Time is likely:) speak for itself. VR version tested with HTC-Vive. Tabletop simulator is simply great. After a short Tutorial, you can choose your board game/card game and host a Server. And by selection I mean to choose ... There is hardly a Board Game that is not present in Tabletop. Thanks to a hardworking Community and workshop, new Games are constantly being added, and there are already quite a few. Starting with Man don't annoy you about Monopoly, Stratego and Game of Life to Settlers of Catan, it's all represented. (And costs nothing extra) The Controls in VR take some getting used to, but in Time you have the Hang of it and it goes well out of hand. The Graphics run smoothly (GTX 970) and are consistent. Cards are displayed larger so you can see them reading, Dice and Figurines set also works quite well, it seems mostly thought out. The most famous Games (such as Monopoly) are also available in German, if you are able to speak well English, you get a much larger Selection of Titles. But Eyes on, not all Games are finished or run perfectly. Of many Games there are also several Versions, if one does not work well, do not give up, the next one is perhaps better ... The Additional Plus is that you can also play with People who don't own VR glasses. This does not cause a Shortage of Fellow Players. (VR players receive an Avatar with VR glasses) All in all, a clear Buy recommendation, especially if you have Players in your Circle of Friends.
