Product received for free Table Top Soccer is a tactical, round-based, online multiplayer / single player, cross-platform strategy game, with a strong focus on strategy and tactics. You can play solo games, challenge friends, or players around the world. In each turn, you can move each player to a certain limited spot of the field, and if one of them has the ball you can make him shoot anywhere. When you are near the enemies goal, you can try to shoot into left, right or center to score a point. From time to time the AI gets harder and makes the game more challenging. Its fun to play if you find a online player to play with, but in solo it gets boring very fast. The price of 1,99€ is quite fair for the content it offers. I personally give this game a 6/10. Turn-by-turn tactical game that asks us to move football players, make passes and of course score goals. The teams are composed of only 5 players and a goalkeeper and the terrain is actually laid on a table, sort of Tipp-kick or Subbuteo. We have a limited time in each round to plan the actions of our team. There are a few bonuses available during the matches to increase the speed of the moves or the length of the passes or to benefit from a combo displacement + shoot. Points earned during matches are used to improve the characteristics of our players (pass, tackle, shooting). Unfortunately, the interest drops very quickly after a few parts. Because the matches are short, you have to focus on a very vertical game to be quickly in front of the opposing goal. Despite this, defenders can easily pile up in front of the goal, reducing any futile tactics. For shoots, one can only choose left-center or right. The guards are not in a controllable way. The camera is annoying, especially the top view (during tactical development) that can be shifted and forcing to refocus the view to see the entire terrain. We can add that the French translation is ridiculous, even if all the texts are strictly useless. As it is, I can not recommend this game but its release being very recent, it is possible that improvements are still made.
