Tank Wars

Description

A small, for now, game where 2 players share a keyboard to move around a map and try to destroy each others tanks to win the game. For now there is only one map but I want to add more in the near future.

Development Road Map

-Start adding in player requested items (once someone requests something)

-By the end of the month (January 2017) add at least 2 more maps

-Add controller support, expected date: February or March of 2017

-Add more maps (Whenever a few updates come out)

-Get the game on Steam Greenlight (March 2017)

Development Started- 1/27/2017

First bug found (Bad Collision With tanks and floor)- 1/27/2017

First beta tester- 1/29/2017

Tank Wars 1.0.0 was released to the public- 1/30/2017

PLAYER 1:

"W"- Move Forward

"A"- Turn Left

"S"- Move Backward

"D"- Turn Right

"Space Bar"- Shoot

PLAYER 2:

"Up Arrow"- Move Forward

"Down Arrow"- Move Backward

"Left Arrow"- Turn Left

"Right Arrow"- Turn Right

"Right Control"- Shoot

Troubleshooting

Problem: Game wont run from the shortcut next to the data folder.

Solution: Go into the data folder and locate the file named "Tank Wars.blend", it should be an "exe" file that you can run.

Problem: Game will not run from the ".blend" file inside the "Game Data" folder

Solution: Try extracting ALL of the files for the game (.dll's, Python folder, .blends's) or re-download the game.
