Our Driving Question...
“How can we create something relevant to the game industry that is not only functional but also raises awareness about current global social issues?”
Our Approach...
“A visually driven 2D platform, walk ‘em up video game.
Based on the oppression of the Uyghurs by the CCP.”
We want to raise awareness of the Uyghur who are suffering the human rights abuses by the hand of a CCP in Xinjiang, China.
We didn't want tell people but show them the issues through visual storytelling and interactive gameplay.
Subject Matter - The Uyghur.
The Uyghur are a Turkish ethnic group who reside in Xinjiang, China and are considered native to the region. Uyghurs primarily practice Islam, but a small portion practice a mix of Buddhism, Shamanism and Christianity.

Thank you for taking the time playing our demo. Since we're soon to be graduating design students of SAE Byron Bay with a great passion for the video games industry, we decided to make this demo as our major project.
We hope you enjoyed the demo and we want to develop this into something bigger than it's current proof of concept.
