Team Fortress Classic reviews

The original prequel to «Team Fortress 2», which started as a «Quake» mod.
It differs from «TF2» by game design, which at the time tried to be realistic.

One of my favorite games of all time, I really passionately. Many Epic Moments with the community and made good friends. A pity that is not more popular and that there is a good adaptation (there is Fortress Forever but it is disappointing... and Team Fortress 2 has NOTHING to do with it. Actually, on second thought, it would be an EXCELLENT e-Sport today! Some of the things I like about this juegazo: * Great variety of custom maps, which allow you to turn various game modes. From Fun-casual, to competitive maps of capturing the flag. Special Mention to the "Conc _" and "Strafe _" that require skill and practice, are entrentenidos in itself and at the same time is good practice of movement to attack better in the CTF * The jumps with conc, rocket, grenades... The "dizziness" that give you the conc, how satisfying it is to paste Conceado with the shotgun of far... The slides, the bunnyhop, all interesting mechanics that make this a very good game * The intensity of the CTF with people who play well, not in the public, is the most enjoyable. "Clan Wars" or "mix" 15 min round trip, one team attacking and the other defending and then the roles are exchanged (for 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5) or games of 30 min with the two teams attacking and defending (6v6, 7v7, 8v8). The goal is to remove the flag from the enemy base and take it to the Allied capture point, the flag is lost when dying and can also be pulled forward (being about to die, or to give it to an ally who has conc); The flag returns to the base after a certain time (I do not remember, I think between 30 seconds and 1 min depending on the map), and on certain maps that are very locked sometimes is won by difference of 1 single flag (in others you can finish 9 to 4 , 15 to 9 things like that). Both attacking and defending are entertaining, and defending is not particularly "camping" because the flag is moving from position and need to adapt to the map to defend it correctly. Each Map has its positions and its tricks, usually in defense there is always a HW (' The Fat ') and at least one soldier, and then is added Demoman or engineer (s). There Are maps that can be played with different configurations, according to the preference of the team (and with which classes are better the players), for example in maps of 5:1 HW 2 soldier 1 Engineer 1 Demoman or 1 HW 3 Soldier 1 engineer/1 Demoman; And on maps of a 4:1 HW, 2 soldier, 1 Engineer/1 Demoman or 1 HW, 1 soldier, 2 engineers, or 1 HW, 1 soldier, 1 engineer and 1 Demoman. * It takes good aim, good movement and LOTS of communication to play well, either by microphone or with text binds. It'S quite a challenge to keep the defense organized, in 2 seconds of distraction you can get complicated and by a move you end up getting a flag. Attacking is more focused on speed and individual capabilities; But a little communication is good (for example, "I'm going to turn off the laser, you go to kill the sentry and the others are going to the flag"). Just as it is an "easy-to-learn, difficult-to-master" game, it also provides a lot of satisfaction with well-done teamwork. The pleasure of winning a very fighting game, the cravings before playing against other teams (I mean "organized" teams, not the mix). Next to DotA, top 2 of the games I was most passionate about. Unfortunately the community is girl and it is strange to see an organized CTF, equally game highly recommended
