Ten Minutes to Kill the Wizard

An evil wizard is casting an evil spell, corrupting the minds of the populace!  You only have a maximum of 10 minutes before your own mind is corrupted!  However, if you get hit, the time limit becomes shorter!

A friendly wizard has opened up a shop selling mystical goods that increase your abilities, but the magical side effects of each one decreases your time on this world even more!

Will you fully upgrade, and defeat the Wizard in a speedy victory?  Or will you play it safe, and eventually take down the Wizard with a toothpick sword?  The choice is yours!
