The Adventures of Nick & Willikins reviews

A little humorous Point & Click Game. Was very amusing to play. The Only Shortcoming, it is only in English, but of course the humour remains the Right way. It's even free, so you don't have anything to lose if you don't like it. I Can definitely recommend it.

So after 4 hours I have finished The Adventures of Nick & Willikins, a nice and good old' click and point adventure. Nothing more, nothing else. Humour is satirical and actually quite smart most of the time, brackgrounds are pretty while characters... would be better in 2d. If I have something to complain about is just this: let me get it wrong, let me mistake without a safe net. Point and click are not difficult games, but it would be funny to see some punishment to the player for choosing wrong then followed by a black screen "YOU HAVE BLOODY FAILED, GAME OVER". And then a restart to a past point.

Willikins is a Butler with Heart and Soul who was Unlucky enough to learn his Trade not at Oxford but "ONLY" at Cambridge. Otherwise, he might have been spared Nick. This pampered, outrageous Bengel lives in a vast Brititisy Mansion with his chewy great-aunt and poor Butler Willikins, whom he scathes and demeans day and night. One Day, however, one Dead man lies in the Middle of the Entrance Hall, and while Willikins doesn't really know why, he sets out to clear up the Case before it goes to his Protégé 's Collar ... You shouldn't expect a sophisticated Criminal History in this Game. What makes the Game, on the other hand, so entertaining is the (sometimes very black) Humour. The Developers are taking themselves and numerous British Clichés to the Ship, and it's really worth letting Willikins look at everything there is in the Mansion. Absurd Dialogues with Nick, who (contrary to the Technical Opinion) is completely crazy, complete the Fun of the Game. The Puzzles are medium heavy, but may well keep up with big Adventures. The Dubbing is just great, just Willikins brings the Comments and Jokes across just right. You are, when you are as captivated by the Game as I am, employed for about 2-3 Hours. The Game is (unfortunately?) only available in English. German Subtitles would be helpful in some Places, but the setting and the whole Concept of the Game would not work in German at all. So If you really Want to enjoy the Game, you should have a good Command of English And not be too bad to look up a particularly strange Pun. I'd like to claim that despite the entertaining Nature of the Game, you can also take some English Vocabulary With you that you didn't know yet. Verdict: Unbelievable that such a good Game is free. I have enjoyed myself very well and will now start listening to the associated Podcasts. Absolute Game recommendation!
