The Backward (Demo Scene)

The expected length of the demo is between 15 to 20 minutes. The main purpose of this demo is to gather feedback from players. For example, I am unsure if everyone will find the difficulty level of this demo scene appropriate or if they will feel comfortable with the character controls, among other things.  Please don't be shocked if the game doesn't fell right at this moment. Your feedback is tremendously welcome, and I will adjust this demo based on your feedback, also providing me a reference standard for the production of later levels.

This demo is selected from the early stages of the game. It includes a certain amount of puzzle solving content and a certain amount of platformer. In this demo, the overall environment is bright and colorful. However, as the game progresses, we will gradually entering the realm of darkness.

关于试玩Demo: 

demo的预期长度为15分总到20分钟。其主要目的是测试一下大家对游戏的看法。比如我不确定大家是否喜欢这个demo scene的难度等级。或者角色操作的感受，等等。无比地欢迎给我反馈和意见。我将根据大家的反馈，随时调整，优化这个demo，同样为后期关卡的制作提供一个参考标准。

这个demo节选自游戏的前期阶段。其比较代表性的同时包含了一定量的解密内容，和一定量的“平台跳跃”内容。在这个demo中，世界是明亮的。但就像“The Backward”这个名字所表达的，随着游戏进展，我们会逆向地从光明逐渐进入黑暗领域。

Before you start:

First of all, thank you very much for coming. As this is my first demo, I would greatly appreciate your feedback to help improve the game's quality. Specifically, I would appreciate feedback on the overall flow, character control, how the hints work, and any bugs that you may encounter. But of course, all types of feedback are super welcome!

There is currently one known bug where the camera locks up. If this happens, please press "ESC" and then reload. I will work to resolve this issue in the coming days, but the likelihood of it occurring is very low.

The current version is not well-optimized and may experience some lag. I will work on optimizing it in the future. I apologize for any performance issues!

If you don't like the current sensitivity, you can press "Esc" and adjust it using the slider on the right side of the screen.

Some parts of the game may be confusing, I apologize.  That's why I need feedback lol (There is no need to sugarcoat any negative feedback.)

 Control: "WASD" for movement, "Spacebar" for jumping, "left-click" for grabbing, "Shift" for accelerating, and "ESC" for pausing. Input keys will be reminded in game as well.

最后的絮叨：

十分感谢大家捧场。作为第一个demo，质量上需要大家的帮助来一起提高。大家可以将回馈重点放在游戏主体节奏，操作感受，解密部分提供的提示，硬性bugs等问题上。当然，任何意见都打鸡血般地欢迎！

目前已知有一个bug。具体表现为镜头锁死不动。这个bug目前还没有解决方法，如果发生，请按esc， 然后reload。在接下来的日子里我会解决这个问题。不过这个问题发生的概率非常的低。

目前版本没有足够的优化。可能会出现比较卡顿的现象。我会在未来时间里进行优化。性能问题还请大家先容忍一下，抱拳了！

如果大家不喜欢当前灵敏度，可以按esc，屏幕右半部分唯一的一个拖动条就是控制灵敏的。

游戏有些部分可能比较匪夷所思，迷惑。十分抱歉，还请大家给点耐心。但同样欢迎大家反馈真实感受！一切负面体验请无需委婉哈哈。

操作方式在游戏中会有自动提醒。但大概就是 WASD 控制。空格键 跳跃。鼠标左键 抓取。Shift 键加速。ESC 键暂停。

I really hope you wouldn't need it, but in case you get stuck, there is a "Easy Mode" toggle in "pause menu". When it's on, you get more autosave points and slightly more hints.

我不希望游戏的流程太过简单，但更糟糕的是在某个地方被彻底卡住。如果在某个地方实在过不了，在暂停界面周有一个“Easy Mode”按钮。点亮后，会有更多的提示和保存点。
