The Bright Path

"The Bright Path" is an educational game, which provides interactive experience to learn more about the topics of drug abuse, drug addiction, dangerous societal phenomena and active citizenship in an interactive, entertaining and immersive way. We recommend to follow-up with a reflection activity to discuss the choices you made during the game with your students or in your mind with yourself. You play as a young man called Rasmus, who is a  volunteer in a fictional city called „Sobercity“, which is plagued by drug abuse, drug addiction and other dangerous societal phenomena. Your goal is to roam through the city and discover local citizens, who are facing various challenges and to help them or not, but remember every choice you make counts towards shaping the fate of the city !

The game offers the following features and content: 

• open world/sandbox mechanics 

• play time of around 30 minutes 

• meeting NPCs, helping them with their quests and challenges 

• collecting collectible items such as podcasts, journals and other items 

• discover 3 different endings based on the actions you take during the game 

• adventure/exploration gameplay 

• learning more about the dangers of drug abuse and active citizenship in a fun way
