The Bunker reviews and comments

The Bunker is an interactive movie, but with very limited gameplay and very frustrating QTEs. I blocked at the last QTE, just before the choice that decides the ending. Despite this, I still appreciated The Bunker, but I had to accept from the beginning that it's a movie first and a video game second. The acting seems "cold and stiff" at times. At least that's my impression.

 * If you like a movie and the low gameplay + hard QTEs don't scare you, get The Bunker.
 * If you want a narrative game with lots of choice and gameplay, skip it, you'll get bored.

I love FMV Games and I've been looking forward to The Bunker for a long time. But unfortunately, the Work here is rather mediocre. I want to do the positive Things: The Location is a real Nuclear Bunker and very authentic. Lead Actor Adam is very convincing and you like to watch him. Camera and Costumes are good. Cons: There are virtually no Decision-making Options. Everything is extremely linear. Where you can still explore a little at the Beginning, you just run down Gears at the end and look for the Place where you have to click so that the Film continues to run. You go from player to Spectator. Unfortunately, though, the Story can't really convince either. It is just too short and as thin as a Letter soup. About the Wiso/WesHalb/Why you don't know anything. One wants to know what is actually going on and you will be disappointed. All in All: Too little Play, too flat History to really recommend it. If you really like FMV you should buy it, if you just want to play, maybe invest the Money somewhere else.

Have already followed The Bunker in its Development and was relatively excited about the finished Game. In Conclusion, it hasn't gotten as good as previous FMV games, but it's a short nice Made film with No depth. It is important to mention that the Game is not a horror or Horror Game. The Oppressive Thing is just the Setting itself. No worse than a Episode X factor. Visually, the Game has been super successful. Above all, I am missing more Monologues or Comments from the Protagonist. The Story is sufficient for a Short Film (strongly reminiscent Of Series like Outer Limits Or the Twilight Zone). Accordingly, unfortunately, there is also little depth and only a few Moments that make you feel, because you don't get to know any of the Characters in the two Hours of Play. Unfortunately, the Game is not worth mentioning in a playful way. Not comparable to many FMV games from the 90S. The biggest playful point Of Criticism that also has a narrative effect: There's almost nothing to click on except the Hotpoints. Three Tape recordings, few Lyrics, sometimes something to watch. Unfortunately, you won't find Much more. Unfortunately, a lot of Potential was given away to be more demanding in a playfully and to develop more Depth for the Setting. I wouldn't spend €20am on the Game as the two Hours are not intense enough to feel satisfying. For tens of People, however, you can recommend it and you get an interactive Sequence of Outer Limits, which is nice to look at, but does not leave a deep Impression.
