The Changeling (Marcus Blair)

This game was made as a submission to the Themed Horror Game Jam #9 - Halloween Edition - https://itch.io/jam/themed-horror-game-jam-9

The theme I picked for the jam is Witching Hour, which I initially had lots of ideas for story-wise but I spent a bit too much time working on features and didn't have time to include the story that I originally had in mind so this ended up being mostly just a demo of the systems I was able to get working. Anyway, you fight a witch at the end so that counts right?

I also didn't have time to create any kind of tutorial in game so here's a quick run-down:

Left-Click - cast spell

Right-Click - interact/dialogue

Scroll-Wheel - cycle through spells

ESC - pause

SPELLS:

Fireball - basic attack spell

Absorb (sunflower icon) - absorb the life force from plants to get energy to cast spells

Raise Dead (tombstone icon) - bring a dead enemy back from the dead to fight for you
