The Disembodied Hand

A submission to the One Page RPG Jam 2021.

A GM-less TTRPG for three players about raising a super-powered baby in medieval Wales.

Inspired by the First Branch of the Mabinogi, (the oldest collection of Welsh fairytales), The Disembodied Hand is a horror comedy game in which you and two other players are warriors in the fantastical landscape of Wales in the Mabinogion.

Play through a simple, silly adventure as you are abruptly burdened with glorious parenthood. Bond with your super-powered Child, and enjoy all sorts of wacky medieval hijinks as you try to raise them.

Take it in turns playing NPCs, describing scenarios and presenting your characters with monstrous foes.

You will need:

• 3D3 - we suggest a digital generator, using 3D6 and dividing them in half, or 3D4 and substracting 1 from your roll.* 

*We know it's awkward, but the triads were irresistible.
