The eighth day

A year has passed since the event that many have called "The Eighth Day".

At present, humanity lives hidden in the shadows, because in the streets roam the "angels", grotesque and monstrous beings that destroy everything that crosses their path and cannot be stopped with human weapons.

In this dark world, the player plays the role of Alexander, a young man who lost everything after the great incident and since then has been wandering from town to town fleeing from the tormenting memories of his past and the monsters that haunt him.

A young man with a tired look who lives constantly tormented by painful memories of his past. 

After having lost everything in the great event that humans called "The Eighth Day", Alexander began to live a wandering life without a fixed goal. A year after the great incident, while traveling on the road, he heard a mysterious radio transmission that a resistance group was forming in the small town of Night Valley.

Arrogant, self-centered, mocking and disrespectful, that's Alisa, a girl from the big city who enjoyed popularity in her school and loved to be the center of attention at all times, but after the descent of the angels, her whole life changed.

After what happened on the eighth day, Alisa was badly wounded, but with the help of her older sister she managed to flee the city, until she reached a small town called Night Valley, where both girls joined the resistance for different reasons.

Alisa's older sister. Agata is a cold girl and quite direct with her words, in the past she belonged to a small gang that was dedicated to cause problems throughout the city, but when chaos invaded the streets on the eighth day, Agata did not hesitate to abandon her friends to go in search of her younger sister. 

Despite her indifferent attitude towards anyone who is not her younger sister, Agata is not a heartless person, she is someone who carries many feelings of guilt which she prefers not to share in order to remain strong and not to show weaknesses in front of her Alisa.

By selecting this route, the protagonist will refuse to forget the past and will join the resistance in order to gain the power to kill those monsters who started it all.

This route is designed for those who want to have a more direct confrontation with the angels and want to know what is really happening to the world.

[Join the refugee center]

By selecting this route, the protagonist will decide to try to leave his past behind and start a new life together with the other people in the camp.

This route is designed for those who want to have an adventure more related to survival, suspense and terror, as human weapons cannot kill angels.

I'm using this project as a test to practice creating branching stories. 

All the visual novels I've done are always linear or the alternate choices lead directly to an ending, which isn't a bad thing, but I'd like to change it up to have a little more variety in my future projects.

Anyway, this story is something I made up in a couple of days and it's not really a project I'm taking seriously or plan to finish.
