Developed by the TESRenewal Project, this non-commercial overhaul preserves the heart of the original while expanding its possibilities with modern tools, visuals, and gameplay systems.

• Built in the Skyrim Engine: Leveraging Skyrim’s 64-bit engine, Skyblivion offers stability, performance, and modding flexibility that the original Oblivion never could.
• Massive Visual Upgrade: All textures, models, environments, and lighting systems have been recreated or remastered to deliver a visually rich experience that feels at home in a modern library.
• Immersive Audio: Featuring an original 22-track soundtrack composed to complement Oblivion’s iconic score, alongside fully voiced characters and ambient soundscapes.

A Cyrodiil You’ve Never Seen Before

• The Entire World Rebuilt: Explore every city, village, ruin, and forest of the original game, faithfully recreated and expanded.
• Newly Restored Locations: Visit locations like the city of Sutch, originally planned but cut from the 2006 release, now fully realized and integrated.
• Expanded Dungeons & Interiors: Many dungeons and interiors have been redesigned for better flow, challenge, and atmosphere, adding new life to familiar places.

Gameplay Reforged

• Modernized Combat: Enjoy Skyrim’s more fluid and responsive combat while maintaining the classic RPG mechanics of Oblivion.
• Reworked Interfaces: Streamlined menus, modern HUD elements, and a redesigned inventory and magic system improve quality of life without sacrificing identity.
• Unique Systems Return: From Oblivion Gates and the Radiant AI system to Birthsigns and Attributes, all core mechanics are faithfully recreated and improved where necessary.
