The Exorcist: Legion VR reviews

In the Exorcist, we take on the Role of a Detective who takes on the Legacy of an Exorcist. In various Chapters, we set off in search of evil armed with Crucifix, Holy Water and other Untensils. To do this, we have to follow in the Footsteps of the Demons, uncover the Background of the Story and solve little Puzzles. The individual Chapters are graphically pretty to look at, the Atmosphere is partly really creepy and the Interactions are also fine. Especially since the Vibration Possibilities of the Controllers are finally used again in order to get on the Gap with Evil. We have access to Both Teleportation and free Movement. However, the Character is a bit "sluggish" on the road. I liked the 3 Chapters so far, there's a great goosebump feeling coming across and each Chapter has its own Creepy environment. Only the Length of the individual Sections is a bit short at 30 Minutes. Although I am not one of the Players who are speeding fast, it took me just 1.5 Hours. With 5,-Euro per Chapter, a "more expensive" Game will come out at some point. Nevertheless, the Game is worth a Look, maybe you get all the Chapters together times in the Sale. The Exorcist is not a bad Game, really not. The Graphics are very good and the Interaction Possibilities as well as the Menue/ê are well thought out. The Inventory on the Arm, for example, is almost unique. However, motion Control, in which you determine with your Head where you are moving, even when Teleporting, is very unsuitable for a Game by Having to look around. (Personally, I don't like that at all) It is nice that you can mix Teleport and free Movement. But then this lame Movement speed, although three Variants are available, even the fastest is still very very slow. The Idea of playing a Cop to clear up the perverse horror cases here is very nice. Even the Menu as an Office etc. fit great and look great! I also thought Episode 1 was quite nice, but not really creepy. Episode 2 was no longer at all for me. Maybe I'm too brewed ...? The Length of the Episodes is very short, the second took a little longer-here you can also interact more, but taken together felt a good Hour of Playing time. If all the Episodes are so short, I don't know if it's worth the Game. Unfortunately, the fact that there are no Subtitles makes understanding the Story on which a Horror Game also thrives rather difficult-if you don't understand English. Often the Sound Files are also very distorted from the really story point and are already acoustically difficult to stand, that Subtitles themselves in English would be very helpful. I give a Thumbs up because it's a well-thought-out Game Design, not because I found it terribly creepy.
