The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians reviews

I don't want to tear the Game away but regret spending a little €20 on it already. Legend of Grimrock I liked by Lengths better. There are several Reasons for this: 1. LoG's Combat System was simpler and much more catchy. I'm not used to the talent tree system and I struggle to assess the Impact my Choice has. The further I get (now Level 6), the More I feel like it doesn't matter what Items I use. The collected Items (if I can still carry them at all) offer some Advantages, but have as many Disadvantages as possible. So most of the time they stay put. The Bosses are so heavy that I have to fear that I will soon not be able to defeat them with my group, which is perceived as weak. 2. There is a lack of graphic Variety. At LoG 2, there was an Outdoor Area and often different Textures in the Dungeons. 3. I lack the many Secrets and Puzzles. Finding secret Corridors and Trying out different Methods to discover their Entrance. Collecting really powerful Items. Significantly more different Opponents in alternating Order. Different Areas. Here, Secrets and Puzzles are scarcely present or are usually difficult to uncover. 4. Certain Things that were present at LoG and Dings Master etc. are missing here. For Example, the Need to eat Food to survive (at LoG you could even catch Fish in the Water). At Dungeon Master, you could kill Enemies with Doors! There were Sayings to see through Walls etc. 5. If there were a good Story (as with Mass Effect), this Could also increase tension and Intrusion. 6. I also lack Teleporters and the Opportunity to throw Stones. Before you can weigh down a Floorboard, you have to enter it first. 7. Oh, it's not a Comparison at all with other Dungeon Crawlers or Role-playing Games. At Ultima Underworld, you could even leviate. Dragon Flight has Treasures in the Area (2D world map). Dungeons had to be found, hidden in the Mountains. Remember the special mushroom dungeon. In one City, Tolkien was met. At Albion, you came across interesting smart animal breeds. Was a great Mix of science fiction and Fantasy. What red I ... MIr just lacks the Mysterious, Exciting. In other Games I am kept at the Pole again and again with different Rewards, always happy to discover the still unexplored, get completely drawn into the World. As other successful Games I would like to cite Anvil Of Dawn, Black Crypt, Lands of Lore and Eye of the Beholder. What a pity. The Game is not bad, the great Role models probably hard to achieve. I would certainly have missed log a Rating in the Range of 85-90%. My Rating for this Game would be between 65% and 70%. Nevertheless, this is by no means total Rubbish here. Graphics, Sound and Game Flow are good so far. But for me it's hardly exciting, rather a little boring ...
