The Frostrune reviews

I loved the Frostrone. The atmosphere, the story, the graphic paw, the voices (although I did not understand anything, I guess it's a kind of old Norse), the quality of the subtitles, the puzzles (although some were much stronger than me-thanks the walkthrough of lapinkiller45 in the Guide section ^ ^-), I was thoroughly in it and the Frostrun will really remain a good memory, a little short but good. The less are the lack of map, log and cursor indication. Do not do as I left the flower at the end of the rifle, plan the Notepad;)

This is a point and click set in viking era Scandinavia. It faithfully reproduces Nordic mythology to create a game that reminds of Yearwalk and The Room. The scenes are beautifully hand painted, with added animation to create a life like experience. The soundscapes complete the immersion. Already the best game of 2017.

A mysterious point-and-click-adventure. After a Storm that sets the Ship, one becomes stranded on an Island where residents have seemingly vanished in flight. It's important to find out what happened by exploring the Island. Perhaps important to Some: The Texts can be adjusted to German.

I have run the Sound over my Stereo And put on a Polar Light with my HUE Lights and so the Game could reach its full Effect, whoever likes puzzles and Mysticism will get his money's Worth. Certainly also an exciting Way together with his Children (the??? Age should already be reached) to experience a captivating Interactive Haunted story.

In 965, a Viking ship is lined. A single survives, a Trettonårig girl. This is her story. She takes herself to her abandoned parental home, where something awful seems to have happened. Some are dead, most are gone and over all important places is the thick layer of ice-in the middle of the summer. Now She/You must find out what has happened and how it can be corrected. Can Völva be helpful? If you can find her? And then decipher the signs. Atmospheric and beautiful game with stylish environments and delicious effects. The spoken text is in Icelandic with subtitles, among others. In Swedish. However, the Translation is far from 100%, but mostly comprehensible. "Slåsskamp" might mean fights eg. And that Volven is Völva can be understood. Why "Ulfar" translated by "flies" is less comprehensible. Flies that eat on corpses can certainly give an unpleasant feeling, but of a different kind than when wolves (ulvar) feasting on corpses. And the translation seems to have taken place from English and not from Icelandic. There are remnants, like a "can", and that "want" (Eng. "Will") is used instead of "ska" or "will", plus some other oddities. It's a little pity in such a good and atmospheric game. And Maybe it's a little in the shortest team. But, incidentally, it is very worthwhile.
