The Genius

They told you that genius was a clean, rational thing. They were wrong. You’re wracked with impossible knowledge, feverish from visions of a better tomorrow. Under your hands, lives transform, inching closer to the wondrous forms that you ache to make real.

Some flee from that inevitable future. They cling to outdated flesh, with all its inefficiencies and mistakes. But you can make them understand that your judgment comes from love for what they could be. And if they’re still afraid? That, too, can be fixed.

Intense, critical, grandiose, paternalistic. The Genius is a mad scientist who uses their intellect and advanced technology to “fix” or “improve” others. As high as their standards for other people are, they judge themself even more harshly.
