The Grand Race (itch)

Made for "the Grand GAB Jam" with the theme of Grand.

As part of this jam, I wanted to big quite ambitious, so in a way one interpretation of the theme I have taken is grand ambition. Additionally, there is also a grand file size with the main code file size being 5mb. Compared to the last GAB jam submission I made, which had a file size of 1.5mb, there's a grand increase of 3.5mb. However in the game, you start with a grand, in dollars, trying to race to make your vehicle as good as possible to make it the grand racer for the grand race, the one race you race throughout the game.

At the end of the race / when you wish to stop racing in single player, press the escape key to receive money depending on your difficulty and time spent racing.

Controllers are supported but they need to be mapped to a keyboard input and have that key in the controls.

The controls menu has 3 controls relating to cameras, these are not used in this build.

Controls do not save, they have a weird bug where although it does save, it wont actually work.

If the game breaks, try the following debug controls at the main menu.

Reset Game Resolution - F1 & Left Shift

Delete Settings Data - F2 & Left Shift

Delete Save Data - F4 & Left Shift & Right Shift
