The Graveyard reviews

If you are into exaggerated artistic Representations and just want to enjoy something small. It is the Game quite Worth it. Above all, the small Price is perfectly fine. You really can't intervene much except move the Character to the next Event and trigger it. In this Game, it comes down more to "History" and Atmosphere than to the rip-in itself.

I bought Graveyard because I thought it appeals to me emotionally somehow and stimulates me to go into myself. Well, wrong. That it's not a Game that goes on for an Hour, I was already clear but well. What I didn't like is For example that there is a Song and that you didn't even get it to be recorded in English. Honestly, if I want to get picked up somehow, I don't want to have to read Subtitles. If at least it were deep but it's not. If you still really want to play it, download the Demo.

"The Graveyard" is not a Game and lasts less than ten Minutes. The Programming is weak, the Graphics are old baked, Gameplay practically does not exist. Very Few Will be able to do anything with it at all. And yet I have to take a positive view of it, because it has touched me, even though many may find it ridiculous. Maybe it's a Music Video, maybe it's Art. What it is exactly, I don't know, I don't even want to know it and I can't give a crystallized rating crystallized in Numbers as usual, because whether you can do anything with it at all is highly individual. One thing I can say, though: It's definitely amazingly true. As an old Lady, we shuffle along a Path in a Cemetery, toward a small Church, past Headstones and sit down on an empty Bench. A Song is recorded that stylistically evokes gentle Tom Wait'S songs. And then... In the Video of the Program, the old Lady gets up again and leaves the Cemetery. But If you own the Program, then ... She dies in the middle of the Song, drops her Stick and her Head hangs down. The Song ends. We hear very real the Wind, the Birds chirping, away a Dog barks. And she's still sitting there, dead, motionless, an empty Shell. Nothing happens, no one discovers them, no one comes over, their Bodies just sit there, lonely, abandoned in the Cemetery, left alone by the world. We begin to think about life, about death, about Loneliness, about Our Loved ones. And then we leave the Program, forget it, live our Lives on. After a few Weeks we might start it again, because it doesn't quite get out of our Heads and ... ... The old Lady is still sitting there, just the way we left her. The Wind goes, the Birds chirp, removes a Dog barks. Nothing has changed, no one has found it in the Meantime, no one has cared about her ...
