The Guild Gold Edition reviews

Review of "The Guild Gold Edition" It has aged well at first and is still a top Game! The Time back then was great. However, I am not talking about In-Game time (Middle Ages), but about my Childhood. The Game was a totally captivating game alongside Stronghold, Age of Empires and others and I can still proudly say today that I always value it. Especially Since I don't understand this whole negative Criticism of the Game. Something like "ridiculous, it doesn't start" or "if it didn't lay out all The Time" to take as a Rationale, voding the game down would be fine if you changed it a) After the fix again and b) It really was up to the Game. In Reality, however, these Problems are due to the Player who either does not keep his Drivers updated, or is unable to search online first for Solutions or simply play the Game in compatibility mode. It's sad, but we don't want to hang ourselves on that now. Well, admittedly it sometimes crashes after a few hour sessions, but this is a rare Case. NEVER THE SPEICHERN FOR (I recommend doing it every 5 Cycles, or simply after you have done something important). Car storage is also available, of course, but unfortunately that doesn't always trigger. the game...... It's an incredible amount of Fun! ... Is still playable! ... There are various Ways to get to your Destination! ... Is a must for any Fan of the Genre or Player from Adolescence! ... Is much more epic With (steamirrelevant) mods that can also raise the Graphics immensely! but...... Unfortunately, it crashes once and then (but it is not a serious Problem). ... After a few Hours Of play, You lose its Drill, charm and Mood (if you play Vanilla (i.e. without Mods)). ... Unfortunately, no support is no longer received (logically, with age). I hope I have given everyone the Opportunity to get a better Picture of the Game in Advance. Actually, the whole "The Guild" series is very good, but I still like this Version best after all this time. Maybe I'm a little nostalgic, too, but that doesn't mean, of course, that the facts enumerated;) 't right. All in One a mega Game from the old Days (In-Game, as well as from the worldly state of Affairs), which I can definitely recommend to good Heart. Sincerely, Malythix! (Sometimes Called ShadowMK or TecVision:P).

The Guild I (Gold Edition) POSITIVES + Contains the Add-on gaukler, pits and guns + long over 5 minutes, good intro + complete In German + good German Language edition + 6 German starting cities (Cologne, Hanover, Berlin, Dresden, Nuremberg and Augsburg) + innate talents By Choice of Father and Mother, such As Negotiating for better Prices when Buying or Selling, Craftsmanship, Night and Fog for thieving actions, fighting for better Prospects in Duels, and Rhetoric on which one is at the Beginning to distribute points + 11 Professions (E.g. Blacksmith, Host, thief, Preacher) + Political Posts + Dynasties + various Machinations such as challenging someone Blackswood or Duel + heritage progression can be co-determined + random events such as Fires or Thieves + historical News electively with actual Historiography or player-related history + Every Profession plays DIFFERENT + high Range NEGATIVES-max resolution 1152x864 and thus black Bars at the Edges-3D graphics of the time look absolutely grotty today-constant time Pressure there for every Round a Time Limit exists, which I don't like at all and what makes I feel rather rushed-very sluggish At the Start Of the game-partly strange AI decisions-some old Still unfixed Bugs and Crashes FAZIT The Guild I (Gold) from 2002 is a Ur-German Economic Simulation in the 15th And 16th centuries similar to The Hanseatic League or Patrician 2, but with Role-playing Elements and completely in terrible 3D. At the Beginning of The game, you choose a Profession for a certain Basic Income. In Addition, there is the high Policy in which one works his way up the Town hall post for Post, up to the Mayor or even The Landlord. When you die, you can keep playing with the Kid. Then, of course, you lose your acquired Skills and Special Items, but you keep the Possessions and the Money accumulated so far. The Dynasty, and thus the Game, does not end until you do not find a Woman or the Child is too young. While That all sounds good, I just can't do the once really good Game to myself today. The gruesome Graphics don't really run smoothly (whichever) and were no longer contemporary even then. The Service I also do not find it intuitive and generally everything is very old baked, a Feeling that I do not have with other, sometimes even older Games. For this Reason, I simply can't recommend the guild I today. If you are interested in further Reviews of me, follow my Group.
