Plant plants -> Harvest mature plants -> Collect produce -> Earn Life Essence -> Buy Upgrades -> Repeat
This project was my attempt of a submission for Quad Jam #3. I came up with a pretty solid idea on day 3, but sadly I didn't have enough time to complete it. Despite it being unfinished, I still wanted to submit to at least show my idea.
I will be continuing to add features later this week, so let me know what features you think I should add. Also, tip for fellow unity enjoyers: don't use Task.Delay() for webgl builds. Apparently it uses multithreading capabilities of some kind (which causes webgl projects to not run).
Next time I need to work with an artist... I spent way too much time "drawing".
Feature to come:
Creature System (Animals will eat plant produce, and then be culled for meat for additional life essence)
Human System (Will auto harvest plants, feed animals, etc)
Additional Spells (Rain, Fire, Storm, Inspire, Cull)
Sound FX and Background Music
Basic Tutorial System in Game ("Flip to start", "Plant plants", "Ready to harvest")
Mouse-Over Tooltips/Details (shows how long a plant has till mature, etc.)
Known bugs:
Mouse Cursors for plants are bugged
