The Long Reach reviews

To tell you the truth, I don't know why this game hasn't had all the repercussion it should, because it certainly seems to me one of the best games that left us 2018. It Is A clear example that the videojuices are much more than a layer of good graphics, with a pixel art of the most basic I have seen and in turn one of the best scripts ever written for a video game. The Trancurso of events and a very polished idea of how to tell the story, make the Long Reach an experience more than enjoyable and not to mention that extremely recommended. PD: You will turn around the stage until you register everything and try all the combinations. 10/10

A GRAPHIC ADVENTURE, BUT WITHOUT a MOUSE Without Spoilers: How in every movie where there are labs and experiments... Everything goes wrong, and it ends up going to hell. So The adventure begins, without having much information, trying to reveal the plot through dialogues, notes and emails that you are finding. In This case the player will encounter a more than compelling plot, an immersive soundtrack and a very simple gameplay. The difficulty is relative, but it is not a walk simulator, no, it is a graphic adventure, therefore you will have to think a little, mix elements, solve puzzles. The plot made me remember things from the movies "Jacob's Staircase" and "12 Monkeys", due to the turns it takes. In Short, a highly recommendable game, even though it is.

Short Fait: The Long Reach is an unusual but good Mix of Horror, Adventure and some Comedy. As a fairly successful Indie Developer (Dead Age, Grotesque Tactics, Holy Avatar), I like to play Indie games myself and write many Reviews as a Curator. In the enormous Steamspiel Flood, I try to draw attention to Indie Pearls so they don't go down. The Games are always bought themselves. The Long Reach is somewhere a wild Mix of some Monkey Island, some Horror ala Outlast and packed with a good Pixel Graphic. The Environment is made atmospheric, with lots of creepy Sound effects. The Story is set in a Company where everyone has suddenly gone crazy and you have to somehow escape and survive. The Puzzles are rather simpler packaged due to the Mix, but unlike pure Horror Games, you can actually combine Adventure typical of each Object. For pure Point & Click fans, however, it should be said that the Controls run with Buttons or Controllers and that you can often die in the Game. What I think is good, though, because That's how survival horror feeling comes up. Even Adventure typical is not taken so seriously. The Humour does not degenerate on a Scary Movie level, but remains subtle, so that you can still find the Surroundings creepy. The Long Reach is a creative and exciting Game that surprised me positively. Sadly, it has totally gone down on Steam so far. Why? Perhaps due to the Steam Game Tide specifically in the Horror Sector. I hope it will find at least in the Sales still enough Buyers, otherwise would be a shame around the creative Developers.
