The lost artifacts is a turn based rpg game inspired by many classics!

This is the first demo version to the game. Please be aware some things might change as I develop! Any input and ideas are greatly appreciated! Some things are still unbalanced such as monster encounters. Most of the main functionality is complete. Its very important to me you get to experience some of the key features and let me know what needs fixing or what could be improved!

From now on I will post weekly devlogs until the game is complete. Estimated release date to the full game: End 2020!

Controls:

*Partial controller support

A, W, S, D for movement.

Right mouse click/Fire2: Open/Close menu for player

Left mouse click/Fire1: Interact with NPCs, pick up crafting materials, open chests

Space/jump button: Interact with switches/enter zones on map

Story:

You are Serlon, son of Helyot the great king. A dark gate has opened and the land is invaded by monsters and dark shadows. The only way to save the kingdom is to find the lost artifacts that combined have great power and close the dark gate for once and for all.

To help you get started:

Quest1: Lydia, find 5 blue mushrooms. Reward: more mushrooms!

Quest2: Dwarf house on the map. Fight purple mushrooms. Reward: Unlock the forest Cave!

Key Features:

Explore dungeons and fight monsters and bosses:

Solve Quests and puzzles. NPCs can give you quests and you can earn great rewards by solving them. Some locations on the map can be locked by a quest.

Collect materials for crafting and make your own potions! Some locations on the map are for collecting crafting materials only or to help you solve quests. But beware those locations are random generated and can only be exited by finding an exit point.

What can I play in this demo?

This demo has various locations to explore: The first town, one dungeons with mini boss, one location for crafting materials(not random generated yet). Visit houses for quests and info.

You can level up to level 5 in this demo. There are some quests you can solve and potions you can craft. Go ahead and try everything out! Most of the game mechanics are complete. So there should be a lot for you to do! Explore the dungeon and fight your first mini boss!

Since this is a demo version please comment below for any problems/issues. The game will have full controller support when the game is complete. For now you can play with mouse/keyboard and also try any controller.
