The Magic Tower

Story:

"Huh what is this???"

You are the king of this kingdom, traveling across the land to find new and exciting places to explore and conquer. One day, you stumble upon an odd looking castle that invoke that deep curiosity you have long lost.

"I swear I've been here before, but its the first time I saw something like this!"

You cannot fathom how can you miss such a huge castle the last time you were here, turning around and trying to find some clues on this structure that didn't look like anything that was made by the builder of your kingdom. 

"Well maybe the only way to know what kind of castle is this, is by experiencing it myself haha...."

thus, the endless journey begins...

Concept:

The Magic Tower is a simple 2D platformer game that requires the player to reach the last door while navigating through the levels. The goal is to find the keys to open the door. The challenges are the route that the player needs to pass have some obstacles and enemies to hinder the player's progress. This game only contains 1 tutorial level and 1 challenge level with 3 lives given to the player to finish the levels by finding the keys and reach the last door

This game includes three diversifier provided by the CSUI Individual Game Jam of 2020:

1. For the First Time in Forever (implementation of interactive tutorial in the game) in the first level which is the tutorial level, the player will be guided to get used to the control system of the game
2. I cant punch you without getting closer (implement a melee combat system) in the game, the player can kill and damage the enemy by using his melee combat abilities
3. Deja Vu, I have been in this place before (the ending of the game is the beginning of the game) the ending of this game will surely surprise you :)

How to play:

If this is your first time playing this game, please play the tutorial first and read the instruction for the best experience.

• Use the Arrow buttons or "W,A,S,D" to  move the Player
• Press the "Up" ( ↑ ), "W",  or "Space" button to jump
• Press "Shift" or "F" to Attack
• Press the "E" button to use the door
