The Novelist reviews

A really nice Game that's very moving. I liked the comic Style, although some of the People seemed a bit rigid, especially their Facial Expression. All The decisions I found very hard to make as I really built a Bond with the Characters and I didn't want anything bad to happen to them. The Background Music is very appropriate and contributes wonderfully to the Mood of the Game. Last but not least: I bought it in Humblebundle, so I can't really say if 15 euros are worth it, but if the Game is reduced, I can recommend it to all People who don't just want Action and who are able to To enjoy the Game extensively.

I enjoyed the Game a lot-but it's definitely something for Adults who know the Situation of often having to choose between Career, Family and Relationship. The Game is more of a Graphic Novel than a classic Game, you spend a lot of Time listening to the Thoughts of the Residents or reading their Diary Entries/Letters etc. However, Since you play in the Ego Perspective and are not allowed to be seen by the Inhabitants, a simple but exciting Game Mechanics emerges here. Playing Time is about 3-4 Hours, I played through it in one Go and didn't feel Any Boredom. Overall, a nice Gem that made me more thoughtful in any case than all the Call of Duty Parts put together:-D

Fast Clicker and Speedrunner, this Game is not for you ... You have to immerse yourself in the sensitive Story that is told here with Patience and let yourself be dragged along. No casual game for 10 Minutes; I recommend playing at least two, three Chapters at a Time and really looking at, reading, or reading aloud everything. As with other story games, the Choices you make in one Chapter have an Impact on the next Chapter, and presumably the whole Story. In The second Play, for Example, I noticed that Items used for Decisions in the next Chapter lie elsewhere, and the Documents are also other Contents. (So much be revealed). The nasty thing about the Story: You always have to make Compromises, however much you feel with all The Protagonists. You can't make everyone happy, and that's the sad thing about this Story. On the other hand, the Story is very close to real Life; And maybe that's exactly what went so close to me in the Narrative. "The Novelist" I consider a real Pearl in the Sea of "What would have happened if ..." games, which it can more than record from the Story with the AAA games like "The Wolf Among Us," precisely because The Novelist dispenses with a lot of Brimtown and focuses on the Core : Empathy, Compassion, and also a Piece of Helplessness. I played The first Run in "Hide" mode. I am now playing the second Run in "invisible" mode because, in my Opinion, no real game added value has resulted from "Hiding" mode. Those who can take the Time and Leisure To immerse themselves in a really sad and beautiful Story, which, because of the many decision-making Options (about the many Chapters), you can play again and again, and again and again, else, that is the Investment of less than 10 Euros. Warmly recommended.
