The Old Ultraviolet
About
Throughout the turbulent 1970s, alt-music concert venue The Old Ultraviolet stood tall as a pillar of stability and community.
Famed for its unconventional bookings and similarly unconventional regulars, The Old Ultraviolet did more than just provide steady gigs to local acts destined to never so much as flirt with mainstream attention--it also served as a prime communal gathering place for purveyors of and partakers in outsider art. Despite its dilapidated interior and outdated exterior, it consistently brought people together, regardless of age, sexual persuasion, or fashion taste. It was a place where fans of garage rock bonded with fans of jazz fusion, and funk aficionados made lifelong friendships with punks and metalheads.
Now, with the 70s on the precipice of being usurped by the 80s, The Old Ultraviolet has been temporarily shut down for maintenance and redesign purposes.

For the past six months, this group of unlikely friends has kept the spirit of The Old Ultraviolet alive via their Vinyl Club, their bi-monthly get-together in which they sit down, listen to, and discuss their favorite record at the moment.
Little do they know that the ownership of The Old Ultraviolet has been handed over to three shadowy CEOs, whose 1980s version of The Vinyl Club's beloved venue is about to kick them all to the curb in favor of...
