One objective. Alternate playing styles. Getting off the island is your main objective.
- Survival of the fittest: Do what it takes to get off the island. Follow the cryptic note and butcher your way to freedom. Only thing is.. many of the other 99 have the same idea.
- Mind over matter: Keep focus and lurk amongst the bushes, tactically sabotaging camps and assassinating by the dead of night.
- Discovery: Let animals be animals. Watch from a distance and decipher the mysteries of the island. Maybe there is more to the island than meets the eye.
- Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Simulations are hard at work in the background determining how AI’s move, kill and survive. This effects the world you play in and provides unique situations every time. Campfires are lit because AI have actually visited them and bodies are there because they have died, the world lives around you.
- Pick up a lit torch and discover the lore and extensive backstory of the island through rock engravings, notes and environmental story telling.
- Go where you please! Nothing is stopping you from walking to the other side of the playable area. Well.. Potentially 99 psychologically damaged murderous people.
- Keep track of day and night cycles as this will change visibility on both you and the other 99. Lighting fires at night or running through open fields during the day are decisions you must make.
- Weather can be unforgiving, rain blocking out the sound of footsteps and thunder illuminating the path ahead are elements you can use to your tactical advantage.
- Maintaining hunger and thirst doesn’t just keep you alive, it ensures you are strong for every encounter you face.
- Explore more efficiently by keeping well hydrated.
- Kill more efficiently by maintaining your nutrition.
- Solve perspective puzzles, collect components and decipher notes. These will lead to greater rewards and bring you closer to understanding what is happening on the island.

Early Access Review The Aim of the Game is to find somewhere on the Map hidden boat and reassemble it with Spare Parts scattered all over the Island and thus escape from the Island. There are 99 Bankers who also want to escape from the Island. Personally, I really don't think this Game is bad done BUT must be right ahead (BITTE GANZ READ!): 1.) Momentan pure SinglePlayer 2.) The Battles against the other Survivors are well ... Let's say kept quite simple and sometimes I strike 3 times in a row-which consumes well about Stamina-although I only clicked once.
3.) The Game itself is not very lengthy ... I played it for 2 Hours now and have already scouted the whole Card and escaped by boat. -> ergo played through!
So as a Conclusion: The Game itself, also with life, health, Drinking and stamina system is well implemented. In the Fights I would have (personal Opinion) a little more .. Well pepp desired. I Have not yet found really violent Bugs or even game errors that stopped to hang or restart the Game (My System: Windows 10 Pro/64 bit). Due to the Precision Mechanics of the Game, the strong Short-life of the Story and the somewhat simply designed Combat System, however, it is NOT a KUY KUFEMPFEHLING FOR me at this Time!
The Game really isn't bad, but it's definitely not a 15€ value. (At Least at this Time!) So Wait a bit more with the Purchase!

Especially that you get thrown into a Game without a lot of Background Information and a long Introduction is already something Extraordinary nowadays and is a lot of Fun. For all those who enjoy discovering a Story for themselves and slowly piecing Fractions of it together bit by bit into a Whole, The Game is well served. You only feel a real Horror Factor very briefly at the Beginning of the Game until you have settled into the new Environment. The AI is still a bit Weak and any Opponent can really be turned off very easily. If you beat the NPC, take a Step back, then strike forward again and at the same Time again, repeating this tactic all the time, you kill every single Opponent without getting hit yourself (Hit & Run). We also leave out the technical Deficiency in front, let's see what the Developers will say about it. My Recommendation for you is: Definitely wait for something else! The Game has Potential, but still needs some Time to mature. What the Manufacturers still make of it is up to them. All those who want to play It safe are waiting for our final report and decide afterwards whether the Game is good or bad.
