The Purple Tower

Description

The prince has a bit of a spider problem and he needs your help to clean out his tower.

Made in 7 days as a part of the Dungeon Crawler 2021 Game Jam.

Gameplay

• Arrow Keys  to move you character
• Space to wait a turn
• Walk into spiders to attack
• Walk into stairs to go up and down
• Kill all the spiders on each floor to complete the game
• Walking on unexplored tiles will heal you one point

Known Issues

• Issue with the player movement that can cause discomfort
• Slow player movement
• Enemies do not turn toward the player 
• Enemies sometimes appear in the stairs and attack the player when transitioning between levels
• Player can move after game over screen
• Export size is unnecessarily large (about 3 times too large). This causes issues mostly in the web version

These issues are being addressed in a post-voting update
