The Rebel
About
Clockwork Game Software have taken over development of The Rebel and the game is currently being rebuilt from scratch with a new vision. The store page will be changed soon to match our product instead of the old version from the old developers.
I started making "The Rebel" an year ago with only two goals in mind:
1. Create the game with the best graphics.
2. Create the game with the most fun gameplay.
Literally just that. There is no big emphasis on the story, no experimentation. The Rebel is all about shooting, having fun and enjoying nice graphics.
What is the game all about though?
Well in the rebel you're playing a character called Kano. The year is 2045 and you have to deal with corporation known as Magnus who have full control over the access to natural resources.
So, what can you do in the game, why the hell play it?
The game has number of features that I tried to make it stand out from other boring first person shooters. In other words, you will notice how the game feels as if you're playing with cheats all the time - getting killed is almost impossible, you start with 5 weapons loaded with many bullet magazines, you can do gigantic jumps - all this adds to your gameplay so you shouldn't just walk around "armed" with a useless pistol or hands and get bored to death. You can also drive a motorbike or even a flying car and also shoot your enemies while driving.
Is the game in its finished, final state?
Short answer: Yes. Long: No. The game is finished enough to be playable but there are features that I'd like to add but were impossible for me at the moment. Such as: multiplayer. Multiplayer will require dedicated server which costs money so if the game doesn't end in total failure and I get at least enough to buy some beer, I'd also pay for multiplayer servers in the upcoming months. I've been also considering adding Russian or French as an language and improving the graphics and the gameplay - all that will happen through the months for as long as the game promises to have some future.
Have fun :)

Early Access Review All genres of art are good, except boring, but boredom is not a genre.
And again hello my dear friends, colleagues and sympathetic. Today we will talk about another indie game that has turned the world! M-M-m, what? Why do I have a straitjacket on me, and there are two mighty men in white robes standing next to the ring? You See, I have not had time to move away from the previous game, as I caught my eye "The Rebel" and after he played me wanted to take a bunch of pills to no longer live. So Beautiful was the overlooked product. Well, these gentlemen keep me from such an act and predict the passage of "Final Fantasy XIII"... Sadists! But Let's not be sad and talk about our today's guest.
Have you ever visited Belarus? Oh No, no, no, it's not a matter of political implication. I am not a sofa politician and I will leave such conversations to those who will make sense of it in order more. For example, housewives. So, have you ever been to Belarus, and to be more precise in Minsk? In this wonderful city, where forests extend to the horizon, and tourists are greeted by a giant Tyrannosaurus rex, humanoid robots, and with them flying drone-chambers and all want to destroy the newly arrived in the most brutal way... Pills? Well that you are the right word! No pills. Only sedative drugs. In any case, my silent guardians claim exactly that, right?
* In response, the mordorots nodded * In-O-from! So I did not take any potent drugs, the truth is true! These are all developers. They claim that the situation in Minsk is in this way. And There is a pirate ship on which there is no team, but on the deck is a TV, not connected to anything and I... Let me go now! I can't do this anymore!
* One of the nurses uses a proven method in the centuries-his fist and the author of the lines briefly loses touch with reality * * The Awakening was excruciating and painful enough. As It turned out later, medic overzealous and on his forehead now flaunts a bump * Oh-U-u, head hurts... What Do you mean I never used it? Enjoyed it, yes! I ate it. Next time, hit the temple for sure.
* The Second Mordovian showed a disc with "Arcania: Gothic 4" and the author of these lines rolled a natural tantrum, which lasted for ten minutes * So, okay, I came back a little and until I finally went crazy, it is worth to say about the game at least something...
It is launched, it has three cards and you can not kill. Not sure whether the last item can be attributed to the merits of the game, but let it be. Regarding the shortcomings, the game did not work. It just made different Modelek AAs and decided that would come. And it would be fine that neither buildings, cars, nor trees have their own physical model and through them it is possible to pass safely. Okay, that our hero is able to jump fifteen meters in height, to land and go further. And it would be a good thing that our hero resembles a dwarf, which the grass is not even to the waist, and to the neck. And OK, the game does not implement the system of aiming, and all that is, so it's five barrels, an attempt to aim from which is blocking you review completely. The Worst thing in this game is simply nothing to do. There are no silly achievements that could keep the player at least for a while. There are no cards that could recoup the cost of the game, well, or spent nerve cells in an attempt to enjoy the gameplay. There's nothing Here. And so I do not believe in the sincerity of positive feedback to this game on the Stame. Well, or I really went crazy and the Fool cries at me...
