+ cheap to get in a single Old Bundle + the minimalist graphic style somehow has something + everywhere manually storage + probably also unlimited often (meanwhile yes iwie no longer standard) (+ Achievements (see below!))-------------------------------------------------------- ---------the Game starts automatically in mini window mode (due to Problems with Achievements in Full Screen also have to be left to care ..)-cruelly to control with the Cursor-important Points are often 1 Pixel next to the Other-no atmosphere due to subduous Music or Very different sound effects (after 2 Min only played without Sound)-the Puzzles are very ... Just shit, it doesn't fit together + without Help, the story would probably almost not be possible-cumbersome Save-/Lade method-Cluttered inventory-some Achievements are really tricky + you should read through exactly beforehand how to unlock it exactly Not to need 2-3 Attempts, as with me. -.--you just never, ever play through + afterwards!

A really nice, old-fashioned Game, made with a lot of Love! I had bought it out of Curiosity and because I liked to play these Kinds of Games before. (Many of the "modern" Adventures are currently simply annoying me with too light Puzzles and too flat Gags.)
The Samaritan Paradox is a serious Game with a beautiful Story and a very dense Atmosphere. On this Scavenger hunt for the Mystery of the last Book of a deceased writer, we, as the Main Character Ord, become Part of a dense Frame plot around another adventure within the lost Manuscript, which we gradually track down and Reliving. The Contrast between the realistic (quasi Criminal-) Story and the fairytale Fantasy story In the Book couldn't be greater. Nevertheless, at no Point in the Game did I feel like I was losing touch with the Story. On the Contrary, I almost burned to keep playing to find out what happens next, on both Levels of the Narrative.
The Language of The Game is English. However, there are Subtitles in several other Languages. I can say of the German Subtitles that they contain some small Mistakes, but I think they are forgivable, given how small the Budget for this may have been. In any case, they do not Detract from the Understanding. The English Speakers are all very pleasant and professional, which together with the sound and Music Backdrop has a large Part in the mentioned dense atmosphere.
The Only thing that can really catapult you out of the Story line are the sometimes very cracking puzzles. But let's face it: You bought the Game for that ...
Clear Buy recommendation for anyone who appreciates plot more than Graphics!
