About

12 March 1938. Renée, 16 years old, is ripped out of her world, locked up and deprived of everything.
Her only fault was that she didn't know what her place in the world was.
"A danger to herself and others and a cause of public scandal" wrote the police headquarters.
The only horror you will find in this game is the truth: a blow to the solar plexus, much more intense than any supernatural presence
The Town of Light is a psychological adventure told in the first person. The story is set in Italy in the first half of the 20th Century in a place which really existed and has been meticulously reconstructed. Exploring and interacting with the environment you will relive the history of the main character through her confused viewpoint and on the basis of your choices, the story will develop in different ways.
Because of its contents, the game is intended only for adult users.Characteristics: Realistic 3d graphics

The Town of Light reviews and comments

This is a very depressing game start to finish. I think the story is good even though it's incredibly bleak and doesn't have a happy ending. It doesn't have the best graphics but that is to be expected with an indie title. What is really cool is the asylum in the game is a great recreation of the actual asylum in Tuscany. I think the music and sound design were handled pretty well. The gameplay is pretty boring and suffers from the tedious and slow walking of most walking simulator type games. There is no sprint but most of the time you walk fast enough, though there are several times where you are slowed down as part of the narrative. I felt the pacing for most of the game was good up until the ending chapters where it really started to drag for no apparent reason. Overall I think it does a good job of telling a sad story about depression and mental disorders and just how poorly we understand and treat them.

Good Experience, but it was already ... Overall, The Town of Light was actually quite good, but I also had a lot of phases where I was so bored to sneak through the endlessly long gears (Race doesn't go), which I am actually 1-2x almost piled in and snar up with my Head In front of the Keyboard again llled. In fact, the Game also has 1-2 Bugs The Story actually shocks just because it's supposed to be a true Occurrence. The Explanations of the Medical Examinations and Interventions were far From explicit enough for me to gruse or shock. In addition, I find these Chapters of Storage absolutely Shuttered, just like with any other Game that uses it. Here, storage in place belongs. AND RENNEN SOLLTE MAN KNOW!!!. Maybe a Map of the outer Areas would also have been beautiful. But never mind. The Experience has been fun in The end And I think ok for the Price. So If you are delicately besaitet and a bit anxious in the Dark then the Game is certainly something for You. For All the others who are not tough enough anyway. Should consider letting it fall Asleep. Mfg... (Always Remember this is just my own Opinion and does not represent that of the General Public. Always Decide for yourself what is good or not)

Oha, that's tough Tobak. The Game thrives solely on its Atmosphere of complete Silence, Loneliness and Storytelling. But that makes it intense like no Other. The Graphics in Connection with the Setting are also simply perfect. I also have some Pre-war Mental Hospitals near me And have often wandered through such Ruins, so I can only say the Setting Is extremely credibly implemented! Sure, apart from the fact that Electricity still works ... Now played through after just three Hours, but these were definitely the HEFTIGSTEN STUNDEN MY COMPUTERLEBENS!!! Worst of all, while you can influence the Narrative itself, whoever like me once played through it will unfortunately see that the Ending is always the same, inevitable ... And exactly THAT is why the Game feels like a thunderous Punch into the Fre * * e:( To be honest, I'm almost ashamed to have paid just £11.393939am for the Game, because this Masterpiece was supposed to cost £5050. Clearly it is very short, and it has not swallowed Up any Development costs like a GTA or World of Warcraft, but what is offered here in 3-4 Hours while Playing through for the first time is experienced in NO OTHER Game ... And now also the only point Of Criticism: The End! The Developer replaced the Song in The End Credits (Armaud-The Town of Light; for example to buy on Google Play) with another When The Console Version appeared. This nullified the cruellest, saddest and most memorable End credits in Video Game history!!!! The few Phrases Gronkh speaks as a Doctor in the End Credits, along with this Song and the Visual, are the Best, and I MY the best the Video Game industry has ever produced!!! Or were at least the Best:( WHAT BITTE SOLL THAT???????
