The UnderRoot

You live in a village nestled within the roots of a ginormous tree, a tree in which amber is in abundance. This amber is quite valuable, and is used as a currency far and wide. Fruit from the tree falls, feeding the town. However one day, in the dying light of dusk, a corruption struck the tree. The tree withered, no longer producing fruit, bringing the spawn of the devil, as well as corrupting the amber. This made it lose all quality, bringing the town into poverty. It is your job to cleanse the roots of the tree, and save the town from a untimely, horrid death.
