This game had a lot of potential to be great, but, it didn't. But why? Well because it isn't. The combat which is the whole gameplay isn't terribly great, but the problem is how much you jump when the enemies hit you. I even skipped the first upgrade because the enemies just bounced me over the temple. So fighting with a bunch of guys that respawn endlessly is a chore. A bouncy chore. And not the fun kind of bouncy chore.
You play as a heroine that kill some monsters and stab some enemies and slash some big bads, also you get upgrades on your boot which allows you to run as fast as a little kid when they hear the ice cream music. That's still a thing right?
Overall, rating out of 100:
Story: 0
There is a story, but it's in the manual. So it doesn't matter.
Gameplay: 0
If it wasn't because of the fact that enemies attacks are touching you and making you fly 300 miles over to the next game, it'd be good. There are also magic but those you only really use on bosses.
Graphics: 20
Really very good.
Sound/Music: 20
Very very really.
This leaves The Wing of Madoola with a slashin' 40 out of 400! Pretty game.
